Drop-Down Window Cage Slam Latch
This is the replacement latch (or catch) for the "aluminum face cage", barred section of a drop-down feed door. It is intended for side-mount operation. There is one on each side of the cage to fasten it shut & they are connected in the middle with a lanyard to a small hook on the spring end of the slam latch. The actual plastic bolt is 4 1/4" long & measures 3/8" on all four sides. It is slightly beveled on the end that fastens inside the window frame.
