Horse Trailer Wall Pad Retainer Clips (choose from two lengths) (The 1 1/2" length is also commonly used to hold 1/4" rubber wall mat to a hollow trailer wall.) These are also known as "push pins" in the horse trailer world. They work with 1" double-wall aluminum trailers & dividers, although they are designed for just a one-time use. The nylon threads are flexible, and they catch the trailer surface & hold the pad tight. You must compare your drill bit to the pin stem, and use a slightly smaller drill bit. 1/4" or 17/64" for the 1" clip/ the 1 1/2" clip is smaller diameter, takes a 1/4". Drill a hole through the flat pad border area & trailer wall. Push the pin in with a rubber mallet You can use less clips than with a screw application, drill less holes, and it looks neater. Choose the 1" black retainer clips for the pads we sell, if you intend to mount them into the flat border area.
