Constructed of cast aluminum, base is 5 1/2" L X 1 1/4" W, with 4 1/2" bolt centers.
It is designed to work with an aluminum 2-prong cam latch striker, is universal: works for either the top
or bottom or right or left of an aluminum catch on a trailer door.
These break a lot because of a design flaw---the horse's shoe catches on them when the horse is backing out of the trailer!
