Horse Trailer Wall Pads

Trail Pals tip: These pads are constructed of a soft, but strong vinyl, sewn over 1 1/2" foam onto a rigid cardboard backing. This creates a 1" flat border area. We have had them in our trailer (stored outdoors in a rainy environment) for three years with no problem.

These are also known as "push pins". They work with 1" double-wall aluminum trailers & dividers, although they are designed for just a one-time use. The nylon threads are flexible, and they catch the trailer surface & hold the pad tight. Using a drill with a 3/16" bit, drill a hole through the flat pad border area & trailer wall. Push the pin in with your fingers. You can use less clips than with a screw application, drill less holes, and it looks neater. Choose the 1" black retainer clips for the pads we sell.

*These are also the common applicator for homemade or commercial "upgrade" trailer pads that have no border, and here they are applied directly through the foam area. For trailer pads made with no border, choose the 1 1/2" length black retainer clip.

      4 Clips for each 12" pad

6 clips for each 24" pad

8 clips for each 40" pad

10 clips for each 60" pad

The standard color is black, with a grain design on it that resembles leather.

Pad your slant-load and straight-load trailer dividers and walls. Fasten with appropriate screws and washers along the 1" border, where there is no padding.  

Single rectangular trailer pads in any combination are priced as follows:

60" pads are for side walls with no access doors or slant-load dividers.

40" pads are for trailer walls with escape   doors or slant-load dividers.

24" pads are for breast or butt pads.

12" pads are for escape doors.

This replacement round breast or butt pad matches our other trailer pads, and are designed to carefully be  slipped over a round steel or aluminum pipe/bar up to 2 1/4 inches diameter, or if the ends of the bar are irregularly shaped. It is constructed of a  foam cylinder covered with black vinyl.

Total Diameter:: approximately 4"

Choose 24", 26", 28" , 30" or 32" long.

*Call us if you have a larger diameter pipe or bar (it will cost more, due to use of more fabric).

These professionally-made round breast or butt pads matches our other trailer pads, and is designed to slip over a chain or a round steel or aluminum breast or butt bar up to 1 1/4" in diameter. It is constructed of soft (but firm) foam, wrapped & glued over a 1 1/4" (inside diameter) PVC pipe, and covered with black vinyl.

Measure carefully---the pipe cannot be removed.

Total Diameter:: approximately 5 1/2"
