This is a
great product because it is made of
flexible PVC and it has it's own
industrial-strength adhesive
on the back. Drip rail creates a rain
gutter anywhere you need it on your
trailer (or boat). Measure carefully, and extend the drip rail out at least 1 1/2" beyond
both edges if you are covering a door.
Can be applied around a curved area.
Cut & sold by the foot,
& you will receive one continuous piece. Permanent peel
& stick adhesive on the back.

This shiny
PVC chrome trim is generally used for
covering the flat seams on horse trailers.
It has two industrial-strength
self-adhesive strips on the back, to insure
a permanent installation. This
product should last for years on your
trailer. Great for trimming gravel guard,
but won't work with diamond-plate. Comes with instructions for
application.

This decorative aluminum trim is
traditionally used to cover the seams on
trailers where an upper curve is involved, such as
between the roof & sides. Also used to
trim around rectangle UVEX windows.
It can be fastened
with glue & rivets. It is sold in 12
foot sections, but is cut in half before
shipping. You will receive two 6 ft. pieces.

This drip rail is aluminum, and it is used
for a rain gutter over doors or windows, or
it can be fastened around the upper
side seams of a trailer to channel water to drain
off the back of the trailer instead of down
the sides. It cannot be bent around a gentle
curve. It is fastened with glue & rivets.

down "V". It can be bent around a gentle

This polished aluminum trim is designed to hide body seams on the trailer,
it's decorative & looks professional.
Choose your
product: Where
there is an upper curve involved, such as where the
roof meets the side walls, choose the
product with an uneven lip (as shown on
left). For flat seams, choose the product
with an even lip (both lips are
exactly the same, not shown).
This trim can be bent
around a gentle curve. Fasten with glue &
rivets. Slot molding trim is sold in 12 foot sections, but
is cut in half before shipping (you will
receive two 6 ft. pieces).
There are usually three pieces to this
project. Once the molding with the slot
is applied, there is a 1" wide, long piece of colored pliable
vinyl trim that is inserted into the slot,
call vinyl insert.
After the vinyl insert is installed, finish the
project with an aluminum end cap at the ends.
This looks neat & professional.

This is the standard vinyl insert used with the the
slot molding sold above. It can either be
pulled thru with a pliers or pinched &
inserted into the slots. At the ends, it is fastened
with a rivet, or cover the ends with an end cap
(sold below). *Cut
& sold by the foot. Your order
will arrive all in one piece.

Trail Pals tip:
If you pull it thru with a pliers, the
insert can stretch. Cut it 6" longer than
the ends, and let it retract for a few days
before trimming it & fastening the end caps.
A better way might be to pinch it with your
fingers, insert it & flatten it as you walk
around the trailer.

Fasten these aluminum end caps over the vinyl insert
at the end of the slot molding to
finish the project and give it a
professional appearance.
Trail Pals tip:
If you pull the vinyl insert thru with a pliers, the

For aluminum, diamond-plate or
steel fenders Fender Trim is
a necessity for horse trailers, to prevent injury to
horses tied to to the side of the trailer.
And let's just say---we are frustrated
with cheap glue-on fender trim! Either the horses paw it
off, or the glue fails & it starts hanging off the
fenders, leaving an ugly residue. Fender trim with small
aluminum clips inside is the way to go, because it is
easy to install & easy to fix, with no tools
involved. If a horse paws it off, just push it back on
again. You can pull off what is left of the
glue-on product & install this right over it.
Please measure the width at the
edge of the trailer fender, then choose the product
that matches best. Measure the fender edge from where it
meets the trailer in the front to the same place in the
rear. (You will need 8-12 feet for each side.) Fender
trim is priced by the foot & comes in one continuous
piece. Don't remove the old product
until your order arrives. You may want to secure each
end with a rivet or small screw. Our fender trim isn't
plain---it has a "fine pebble" surface design on it. |
