This will quietly fasten the door open and can be fastened with one hand or no hands. Each measurement is from the plunger tip to the trailer wall. Screw centers are 2" apart on the plunger side and 2 1/2" apart on the receiver side. Includes a complete set of plunger, bracket & rubber insert. Polished zinc-coated steel.

**The aluminum Silent Door Holder prongs are made differently than the steel products above---these are molded in 2 pieces & the prong is fastened to the base with an heavy-duty aluminum screw.

The plunger installs on the door side, and the nylon receiver end installs on the trailer body.  Mounting holes for the plunger side are 1 9/32" apart, measured center to center.  Install white nylon receiver with one sheet metal screw. Three sizes available, measured by tip of plunger to trailer wall. Available in polished steel/zinc or stainless steel.

*Install both door holders & receivers with #12 X 1" sheet metal screws or a #10 machine screw & jack nut, available on the fastener page.

White hard nylon receiver socket is rated at a 30 lb. pull. This receiver socket is also sold separately below.

Door Holder-2 Piece with Pivoting Stem

5 possible positions!

This product makes perfect sense to install anywhere an animal or person may come into contact with a protruding stem on a door holder. It can be installed so that the stem folds downward or upward when not in use. It can also be installed to adjust in four sideways positions for a door that needs to fasten at a 45 or 90 degree angle. Comes in steel w/zinc finish only, in 2" and 3" lengths.

2" protrudes 2 7/8" from the wall in the straight position, and 2" in the 45 degree position.

3 " protrudes 3 7/8" from the wall in the straight position, and 3" in the 45 degree position.

*Install the pivot door holders with a #10 sheet metal screw.

Door Holdbacks-Round Rubber Receiver Ends ONLY

It is the large round rubber socket side of this door holdback that eventually fails. It has a bonded steel plate inside, and is threaded for the standard hard plastic plunger shown. Choose 40 lb. or 25 lb. pull for trailer doors, and 12lb. or 6 lb. pull for feed doors & drop-down windows.

2" & 3" Hard Plastic Replacement Plunger for Door Holdbacks

2" & 3" Hard Plastic Replacement Plunger ONLY for door holdback.  Center hole for screw installation. This item may help if you need just one or two more inches of clearance to make your door shut properly, especially on V-shaped, aerodynamic tack rooms built over the tongue of the trailer. This plunger head is sized to be used with our 25 lb. & 40 lb. door holdback receivers sold above. If the fit is too tight (too much pull), the head of the plunger can be shaved until the proper fit is obtained.

2": Holds the door 2 1/2" from the wall. Use a #10 X 2" screw to fasten.

3": Holds the door 3 1/2" from the wall. Use a #10 X 3" screw to fasten.

30 % Angle Bracket for Door Holders and Door Holdbacks

These professionally-made angled brackets are sometimes used to adjust the angle of door holders or door holdbacks where the receiver or female side is fastened with one screw or small bolt. Usually installed on the body of the trailer where the door touches it when open.  2 7/16" screw centers on brackets.

Example: The tack room door touches the trailer tongue (or near it) when it's opened. The receiver is fastened through the mounting hole with a small bolt & nut and then the bracket is fastened to the angled edge of the trailer tongue.

*Use a # 14 sheet metal screw to fasten the angle bracket to the wall of the trailer.

Plastic / Nylon Positive Door Holder

NEW! Now with thick, pliable nylon/plastic stems

Designed to hold doors open against the side of a trailer body, the hook manually engages and disengages. The brackets are made from injection molded nylon/plastic, in a medium gray color. These are a big improvement over the original installed on most trailers---these are industrial strength! The stems are now a pliable 3/8" thick, and would be very hard to break.

*Screw centers are 1 1/4" apart on the short side, and 1 3/16 apart on the long side of the mounting bracket. Both sides have the same size bracket.

LISA Door Holder

Two pieces. The snap side attaches to the wall of the trailer on a bracket with 4 holes. The 2 1/8" arm hangs from a door-side bracket (w/2 holes) when not in use. It will hold the door 3 1/2" away from the trailer wall. Two hands are needed to snap the arm into the catch bracket. Also, two hands are needed to hold the snap open in order to release the arm. This door holder cannot disengage unless it is manually released, even if it is bumped or pulled. Super strong--good for strong wind areas or heavy doors.  In bright polished cast-aluminum.

The 2" LISA will hold the door 3 1/2" away from the trailer wall.

The 4" inch LISA will hold the door 5 1/2" away from the trailer wall.

ADJUSTABLE NYLON DOOR HOLDER

This just might be the solution you have been looking for to hold trailer or feed doors in an open position, especially on aluminum  trailers. The door side adjusts to a soft or hard pull with the adjusting of a screw located on the male side. White.

Small Round Rubber Door Stop

Large Round Rubber Door Stop

1" tall X 2 1/2 " in diameter, black. Generally used as a door stop installed on the body of the trailer or commonly installed in multiples on the bottom of trailer entry ramps where they rest on the ground. Gives 1" clearance under the ramp in order to safely lift it.

EXTRA Large Round Door Stop 

1 1/4" tall X 3" in diameter,  black, made of a very hard molded rubber/polymer.

Installed in multiples on the bottom of trailer entry ramps where they rest on the ground. Allows plenty of room to get your fingers under the ramp in order to safely lift it. This is a heavy-duty replacement stop intended for applications where there is heavy use of a trailer ramp.
